Cloud storage cost calculator
Choose how much storage you need and for how long. The calculator ranks every tracked personal plan with at least that much storage by its total cost, with the price per terabyte. Every price comes from the service’s own page.

How it works
- The calculator reads the plan tables on US cloud storage prices each time it opens.
- Monthly billing = 12 × the standard monthly price per year. Yearly billing = the yearly price as written; where a page gives only a per-month figure billed yearly, 12 times that figure.
- Lifetime prices are one-time payments recorded on the price page; they are shown only when you tick the option.
- Per TB per month uses 1 TB = 1,000 GB. Unlimited plans and lifetime payments show no per-TB figure.
- Storage shared by a family, and storage given per person, is shown as the page states it. First-year discounts are listed under each plan but not counted.
Questions
Is yearly billing always cheaper?
Not always by the same amount. The calculator shows both when you choose “Monthly or yearly”, so the difference is visible plan by plan.
Why is a plan with more storage than I need listed?
The calculator lists every plan with at least the storage you chose, ranked by total cost. A larger plan sometimes costs less than a smaller one from another service.
How fresh are the prices?
Each plan shows the date its page was read. Changes are logged on the cloud storage page.
