Full table, rule and arithmetic

This table is computed by Deldur from the rows above; it uses no new sources. For each carrier it takes the lowest-priced single-line plan that the carrier presents as unlimited data: the word “Unlimited” in the Data column as recorded above, or a plan name that carries “Unlimited” without pairing it with a fixed data amount. Plans in which “Unlimited” describes talk and text beside a fixed data amount, or only the slowed data after one, do not count: Red Pocket’s “Unlimited” Essentials, Plus and Premium (3GB, 20GB and 50GB), Twigby’s “Unlimited Talk/Text” tiers with no data, 2GB, 5GB or 10GB, Consumer Cellular’s “Unlimited Talk/Txt” plans with 1GB to 20GB, Tracfone’s 1, 4, 10 and 20 GB Data Plans, whose Data column pairs the GB amount with “unlimited talk & text”, T-Mobile Prepaid’s Starter Monthly (“15GB of high-speed data”, then unlimited 2G), and US Mobile’s Unlimited Flex, whose card states “10 GB high-speed data” where the Unlimited Starter card states “Unlimited high-speed data”. Ultra Mobile’s Ultra Unlimited Plan is included by its plan name; its row quotes the card’s “40GB of 5G • 4G LTE Data” statement. Plan terms that appear only in a row’s Conditions, such as Ultra Mobile’s 12-month term, are not used. Metro by T-Mobile’s 6-Month Unlimited Plan, a new-customer offer with no stated renewal price, is also left out. Standard × 12 is the Price column multiplied by 12. First year, displayed offer is what 12 months cost when the new-customer offer and the first-month-without-AutoPay condition printed on the carrier’s page are applied exactly as quoted in the Conditions column; the arithmetic is shown so it can be checked. Taxes and fees are excluded unless the carrier states they are included. The figures state prices and conditions only; the dataset makes no recommendation.

The cheapest plan for each amount of data

The lowest standard price for each amount of data, before taxes and fees unless the carrier includes them: each carrier’s cheapest plan in the band, lowest first, up to five carriers (more when they tie at the fifth price). At the same price, the plan with more data comes first; when several of a carrier’s terms cost the same per month, the shortest term is shown. A plan paid for several months at once is shown as its price per month, and “How you pay” gives the payment. Where a card shows two data amounts (Ultra Mobile), the smaller one is used. Google Fi Flexible ($20 a month plus $10 per GB) is left out because its price depends on use, and, as in the 12-month table, terms that appear only in a row’s Conditions (Ultra Mobile’s 3, 6 and 12-month prices) are not used. Unlimited plans are in the 12-month table above. Worked out from the rows in each carrier’s section; the dataset makes no recommendation.

How this page works

  • Each price is the standard single-line price shown on the carrier’s own page on the date it was read.
  • Introductory and promotional prices go in the Conditions column, not the Price column.
  • Mint sells only multi-month plans, and the US Mobile rows here are its annual plans (its monthly plans are not yet rows in this table). Their price is the per-month equivalent of the upfront payment, and the Conditions column says so.
  • Gen Mobile sells 1, 3, 6 and 12-month terms. Its 3, 6 and 12-month rows use the same rule: the stated total divided by the months.
  • “Taxes incl.” means the page says taxes and fees are included in the price.
  • Nothing on this page is an estimate. If a page did not state something, the table says “not stated”.
  • Deldur has no financial relationship with any carrier listed here. Source links are plain links to the carrier’s own page.
Coverage, known gaps and method

Coverage and known gaps

Dates and sources: each section shows the date its seller’s page was last read, and its source line links to that page. A figure is recorded only as the seller’s own page shows it.

Not in the monthly tables: Tracfone also lists Basic plans sold in 90-day and 365-day terms (for example $125 for 365 days with 1500 minutes, 1500 texts and 1.5 GB of data). Consumer Cellular’s FCC label list names plans its plans page did not display for one line, among them a 15GB and a 30GB data plan and a “Value Plan”. A disclaimer on Straight Talk’s plans page mentions “$25/mo for a single line on StraightSAVINGS! plan with a compatible, unlocked device and new line”; no card for that plan was displayed on the page as read.

Other notes: T-Mobile Prepaid’s prices are from prepaid.t-mobile.com. The table follows Tello’s FCC broadband labels as displayed. Ultra Mobile’s page shows different data amounts in the card title and the card body for two plans; both are recorded. H2O Wireless shows three plan cards, while a footnote on the same page refers to $30, $40, $50 and $60 monthly unlimited plans with 30GB, 40GB or 60GB of high-speed data; no $40 card was displayed on the page as read. Gen Mobile’s plan cards each print a per-month figure and a total for the term; on three cards the two do not match, and the rows use the total (its source note lists them).

Method

Each carrier’s official plans page is opened and read directly. The standard single-line price, the data allowance, hotspot allowance, tax treatment, and every qualifier printed on the page (AutoPay requirement, introductory pricing, new-customer restrictions, multi-month terms, price guarantees) are recorded with the page URL and the date. Third-party comparison sites are never used as a source. Where a carrier publishes FCC broadband labels, the label’s monthly price is used to confirm which figure is the standard price and which is an offer; text that a page keeps hidden is not recorded. A change is logged only when the carrier’s own page changes. If a figure on this page is wrong, the correction goes in the change log below rather than being edited silently. The 12-month cost table is arithmetic on the recorded rows and is recomputed whenever a row it uses changes.

This dataset is compiled and maintained by Deldur; how Deldur works explains the process.

No plan price changed; the 12-month table is unchanged. Source: consumercellular.com/fcc-labels-machine-readable.
  • 2026-10-24 — Wording — carrier index note now says the carriers appear in the order of their sections and that every multi-month row is priced per month; the 12-month cost rule now also names Tracfone’s 1, 4, 10 and 20 GB Data Plans and T-Mobile Prepaid’s Starter Monthly among the plans left out, and states that plan terms shown only in a row’s Conditions are not used and that offers on a plan’s card or in its own footnote are applied while page-wide banners are not; the method note on Mint Mobile and US Mobile corrected (the US Mobile rows are its annual plans); the Google Fi, Metro by T-Mobile and Visible quick answers now date their offers to the current read, and the Boost Mobile and Verizon Prepaid answers link to their own pages; the Red Pocket and Consumer Cellular read dates clarified; older entries and notes on H2O Wireless, Consumer Cellular, Straight Talk, Tracfone, Visible and Tello reworded to say what the pages showed rather than how they were read. No figure changed.
  • 2026-10-21 — Hub page — new section “What ‘unlimited’ includes on each plan” (#fast-data) after the yearly cost bars: for the same 19 plans, the data amount each carrier’s row states before speeds drop, what happens after it, how the plan is paid (each month, every 30 days or once for 12 months) and the 12-month cost at the standard price. Built from the rows on this page; no new sources. No figure changed.

Prices ($10, $15, $20 and $25/mo) unchanged. 12-month cost table: Tello is now computed, $25 × 12 = $300 (was “not stated”). Source: tello.com/buy/custom_plans.

  • 2026-09-29 — Hub page — 12-month cost table — wording: the sentence above the table said a plan qualifies when the word “Unlimited” is in its name or in its Data column; read literally, that would pick Twigby’s $10 “Unlimited Talk/Text (no data)”, Consumer Cellular’s $20 “Unlimited Talk/Txt/1GB” and US Mobile’s $17.50 Unlimited Flex (“10 GB high-speed data”) instead of the rows the table has used since September 28. The sentence now names every plan-name pattern that is left out (Red Pocket, Twigby’s and Consumer Cellular’s talk-and-text tiers, US Mobile’s Unlimited Flex) and states that Ultra Mobile’s Ultra Unlimited Plan is included by its plan name; the US Mobile row notes the Flex exclusion. No figure changed. Found by the site’s own check.
  • 2026-09-29 — Red Pocket — Unlimited Essentials, Plus and Premium, annual — correction. The Price column showed $10/mo, $20/mo and $30/mo ($120, $240 and $360 a year); those are the struck-through figures on the annual cards. The cards state “Renews at $110/year”, “Renews at $220/year” and “Renews at $330/year” (“Equivalent to $9.17/mo”, “$18.33/mo” and “$27.50/mo”), and the renewal price is the standard price, so the rows now show $9.17/mo, $18.33/mo and $27.50/mo. This also corrects the entry below that called $120 the regular price. First-year prices ($100, $200, $300) and fees unchanged. Source: redpocket.com.
  • 2026-09-29 — Mint Mobile — 3-month plans — source note added: Mint’s FCC broadband labels give the regular 3-month prices as $25, $35, $45 and $40 (6GB, 17GB, 23GB, Unlimited), matching this table, while the plan cards on the 3-Month tab strike through $20, $25 and $30 for 17GB, 23GB and Unlimited. All twelve Mint rows were checked against the labels. No figure changed. Source: mintmobile.com/plans.
  • 2026-09-29 — Red Pocket — Unlimited Essentials (monthly) — qualifier rewritten: the row had quoted a page banner, “Get 50% off your first month when you bring your number”; the page as read today shows no first-month offer on the $10 Essentials card, and its fine print limits the 50%-off-first-month offer to the $20, $30 and $40 monthly plans. The card badge “Now 3X the Data” is now quoted. No figure changed. Source: redpocket.com.
  • 2026-09-29 — Red Pocket — Unlimited Essentials, annual — qualifier added: the annual card shows a $100 “First Year” promo price next to the $120 regular price, the same pattern the Plus ($200) and Premium ($300) annual rows already record. The $120 regular price stands. Source: redpocket.com.
  • 2026-09-28 — Tracfone — 4 GB and 10 GB Data Plans (30 days) — correction. The Price column showed $15/mo and $25/mo; those are the Auto-Refill prices “for first 2 mo”. The standard prices are $20/mo and $30/mo, as shown on the plans page and on each plan’s FCC broadband label (“This Monthly Price is not an introductory rate”). The error came from reading the homepage, which shows only the Auto-Refill figures; the plans page was read for the first time today. Source: tracfone.com/plans.
